Refund & Service Policy

Trial access, refund exceptions, offline license delivery, and replacement rules.

Effective: September 24, 2026

1. Try before buying

Download kticket for free to connect to a cluster, view accounts, check access, and preview issuance. Issuing credentials and adding grants require a license. Previewing does not guarantee that issuance will succeed.

Licenses are generally non-refundable after delivery, except as required by applicable law or Paddle rules.

We do not offer an additional voluntary refund period for a change of mind or a license you no longer need. This does not limit statutory withdrawal rights or refunds for duplicate charges, non-delivery, or unresolved material product defects.

Paddle may also approve refunds at its discretion. Its Refund Policy, including regional withdrawal rights, applies to your purchase. Free trial access does not waive these rights.

Orders placed before this policy takes effect retain the policy in effect at purchase, including any refund commitments made then.

2. How to request a refund

  1. Email support@kticket.dev from the address used at checkout.
  2. Include your Paddle transaction ID and purchase date. For delivery or technical issues, describe the problem. Statutory withdrawal does not require a reason.
  3. You may also contact Paddle buyer support through paddle.net. Paddle is the Merchant of Record and returns approved funds to the original payment method.

We normally acknowledge support and refund requests within two business days. Bank or payment-network processing time after approval is controlled by Paddle and the payment provider.

3. Effect of a refund

A permanent offline license cannot be remotely disabled. When a refund is approved, your contractual right to use that license ends. You agree to uninstall the license, delete the .ktlicense file and its copies, and stop using paid capabilities. Continued use after refund is unauthorized.

Refunded licenses are no longer eligible for redelivery or hardware-replacement reissue. This ends the entitlement; it does not remotely invalidate an offline file.

4. Delivery policy

Paddle sends the payment receipt after a successful checkout. kticket separately verifies the completed transaction, signs the machine-bound license, and sends the .ktlicense attachment to the email address verified through Paddle.

  • Most licenses are prepared automatically after Paddle marks the transaction completed.
  • If delivery is delayed, the service retries without creating a different license for the same transaction.
  • If the email does not arrive, check spam or quarantine folders and contact support@kticket.dev with the Paddle transaction ID.
  • We may resend the original license file after verifying the purchaser. We do not create a second entitlement for an email-delivery issue.

If we cannot deliver a valid license for the submitted Machine ID within a reasonable period after you contact support, you may choose a replacement license where technically possible or a full refund.

5. Wrong Machine ID

The purchase form verifies the format and checksum, but you are responsible for copying the ID from the machine you intend to license. If you accidentally submit a valid ID for the wrong machine, contact support promptly and do not use or distribute the delivered license. After verifying the transaction and circumstances, we may issue one corrected replacement and retire the original entitlement.

6. Hardware replacement and migration

Operating-system reinstallation normally preserves the Machine ID and requires only reinstalling your saved license file. Motherboard replacement, virtual-machine recreation, or unstable firmware identifiers may produce a new ID.

For a genuine one-for-one hardware replacement, email support from the purchase address with the Paddle transaction ID, old Machine ID, new Machine ID, and a short explanation. We review replacement requests for abuse and may provide a replacement at no additional charge. The old license must no longer be used. Bulk transfers, shared virtual-machine images, and repeated unexplained migrations may require new licenses.

7. Abuse, duplicate payments, and chargebacks

This policy does not require us to issue multiple working licenses for one purchase, refund fraudulent transactions, or support prohibited distribution. Duplicate charges and unauthorized transactions should be reported immediately so kticket and Paddle can investigate. Please contact support before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to resolve delivery or product issues.
